This week there are also 2 big State-wide issues in progress.
Redistricting:
Governor Kehoe has called a Special Session to in-act redistricting with the intent of removing a district in Kansas City that is held by a Democrat. And to discuss a change in the citizen petition process to reguire passage by over 60%. No more majority rule. This would mean that that just over 30% of the voting population could K*ll any citizen petition presented for a vote by the people.
In conjunction with Kehoe's Special Session is the Launch of the Respect Mo Voters campaign to Ban (or limit) the Mo legislature from:
**Overturning citizen petition initiatives that have already passed such as Prop A and Amendment 3 from 2024
**Attacking the citizens ability to use the initiative process
**Deceiving the voters with confusing ballot language, as Ashcroft tried to do with Amendment 3 in 2024.

Bring a Friend or two. We have to keep the momentum going.
We have a stack of signs from previous rallies for you to choose from, but after over 20 rallies they are starting to show wear and new issues keep on coming! Please create some new signs for this event.
We will also bring blank poster board and markers to make your own signs. Please no vulgar or threatening language and keep the message to issues.
Line up along the South West corner of Broadway and Porter Waggoner. Be safe and stay back from the curb.
Do not take up the parking places for any of the businesses.
Remember one of our Guiding principles is for Peaceful Rallies. Do not engage with anyone looking for trouble. If there is any outside trouble, alert the person in charge and do your best to de-escalate, and if necessary please dial 911. The West Plains Police know we are there.
