Learn Hiking Fundamentals at South Mountain Reservation🌱

Perfect for everyone from curious beginners to more seasoned explorers, this outdoor class will review everything you need to know before hitting the trails! Learn what essentials to prepare yourself with, basic wayfinding, and how to figure out where to go depending on where you’re hiking. Following this information session, join your instructor on a 2.25 mile guided hike around South Mountain Reservation.

This class will include a 1.5 hour hike, participants need to be able to walk without assistive devices.
