General Yoga
A typical Sivananda yoga class commences with some yogic breathing (pranayama) then moves on to the Sun Salutations which help to warm the body up in preparation for the postures to follow. Finally you get to lie down and relax at the end to allow the energy (prana) you have created during the practise to settle.

Ante-Natal Yoga
Practising yoga during pregnancy can help maintain suppleness whilst encouraging the body to stretch comfortably to accommodate your growing baby. Yoga can help boost energy levels by encouraging full breathing whilst relieving stress and anxiety with relaxation and meditation techniques. Alongside aiding a restful night’s sleep, yoga can also help to reduce pain during labour and relieve common ailments during pregnancy. Practising yoga during pregnancy can help begin the special bond between mum and baby.

Mum & Baby Yoga
Mum and baby yoga will introduce you both to a range of postures and flowing movements. Classes are friendly and relaxed and include post-natal yoga, baby yoga, singing and interactive movement along with a rejuvenating relaxation to finish for a happy mummy and baby.
