Ashe Arts Invites Local Writers to Wordkeepers Gathering

The Ashe County Arts Council invites writers from across the High Country to join the next Wordkeepers event on Saturday, December 20th, at 4 pm. Music by Scot Pope and Loftin Hargrave begins at 3:30 pm.

Wordkeepers is a volunteer-led community program that offers writers a welcoming space to share their original work. Each reader is given an eight-minute time slot, reserved in advance with the program's contact person. Wordkeepers draws a lively mix of local writers, and non-writers are warmly encouraged to join the audience and enjoy an afternoon of readings. Refreshments will be provided, and audience members should note that some readings may include adult themes.

Come celebrate the written word and connect with fellow writers and literature lovers in our community.
