Perhaps what is missing is a different kind of practice; a spiritual practice.
During this contemplative retreat we explore music as spiritual practice, unfolding several beautiful practices that, while seemingly simple are actually quite potent and enriching.
These practices come together to offer us the opportunity to connect more deeply with ourselves, our instruments, the music we create and/or play and Spirit. Whether we are playing, singing, practicing, learning, creating or performing, we can transform our involvement with our harps and our music into a deep and rich spiritual practice.
Trinity Retreat Center is a beautiful spiritual center in a lovely location. The Main Building, where our retreat takes place, is very "harp friendly", with wide hallways, a spacious octagonal room for our gatherings, a lovely stone chapel (attached to main building) with a Compline service each evening (optional), a large, light dining room, with an in-house chef serving mostly local foods (much organic), a large and comfy communal living room with fireplace, several small reading rooms and libraries.
Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. Early registration ensures accommodations on first floor (no elevator). Single or double rooms available. Retreat price is $250. Lodging/meals are paid separately through the retreat center. Details and registration at

This retreat is for lever and pedal harp players; most suitable for intermediate beginner to adv. level experience. Note: this retreat would not be suitable for novice levels.
Please bring your own harp.
