You’re invited to a FREE family event at the West Columbia Fire Department! Join us for our Fire Prevention Open House on Friday, October 10, from 4–8 PM.
WCFD is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association for Fire Prevention Week, October 5-11, 2025. Our Open House will include:
- Seeing fire trucks, gear, and equipment up close
- Meet your local firefighters and learn what they do every day
- Enjoy family-friendly activities and demonstrations
- Discover this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme: “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home” and learn how to safely buy, charge, and recycle batteries to protect your home
This event is completely FREE and open to all ages. Bring the kids, bring your questions, and get an inside look at the West Columbia Fire Department as we tackle fire safety!
