What is Record Store Day Black Friday? It's a celebration of the independent record store - and in a collaboration with labels and artists the fine folks at RSD curate a killer selection of limited release titles that can only be sold by independent record shops on Black Friday! We're talking titles by the likes of Talking Heads, Miles Davis, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, King Gizzard, Bob Dylan and a so much more!
We've collaborated with Artillery Brewing and they've got an exclusive beer for us that we'll be tapping on RSD Black Friday! It's a blend of 3 different beers, one of which is a Belgian Ale that has been in whiskey barrels for 18 months. Guaranteed to take the chill off!
Hate waiting in line to get in on a cold November morning? Have we got a solution for you! Bier & Loathing, just 2 doors down, will be opening up at 6:30 and they'll have breakfast sandwiches and coffee available! Not to mention warmth and a room full of coin operated video games! So fish the quarters out of your loose change jar! We'll assign numbers to everyone that gets in line so you don't have to worry about losing your spot. Enjoy the comfort of Bier & Loathing and we'll have everyone assemble in their original positions about 10 minutes before the doors open.
Doors open at 8am. Draft beer is free until noon. Yep, free 'til noon!
And last but certainly not least local artist Scott Derby is once again creating a bespoke RSD Black Friday poster just for us! There'll be a very limited supply of signed and numbered screen prints available that we 'll be giving out to folks that spend more than $100 while supplies last! So get here early!
