Westtown Township Parks and Rec is parterning with Hiking Hound Adventures, LLC for a Mindfulness, Meditation & Movement Hike. This peaceful experience blends the beauty of nature with gentle yoga, simple mindfulness practices, and meaningful reflection to help you relax, refresh, and reconnect with the present moment.
What to Expect:
Welcome & Gentle Yoga Warm-Up: We’ll start with a friendly welcome followed by a short session of gentle, accessible yoga-inspired movement to stretch, breathe, and prepare your body and mind for the trail ahead. No experience needed—just bring an open mind and a willingness to move.
Grounding & Intention Setting: After warming up, we’ll do a brief grounding exercise and invite you to set a personal intention for your time on the trail.
Mindful Hiking: As we explore the trail, we’ll move at a relaxed, comfortable pace, encouraging you to fully take in the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature. Whether you're walking in quiet reflection or connecting with others, the focus is on being present.
Mid-Hike Pause & Reflection: We'll pause for a relaxing break to talk about mindfulness and how it connects to nature, daily life, and your overall well-being.
Silent Mindfulness Walk: To deepen your connection with the natural world and your inner calm, we’ll spend a portion of the hike walking in silence, tuning in to the present moment.
Closing & Final Reflection: We’ll wrap up with a final mindfulness activity and group reflection to help you leave feeling centered, grounded, and recharged.
