Ditch the dating app and join us for our Connection Café for Neurodivergent Singles at 4:30pm on Saturday 27 September at ROK Coffee House, Nottingham. Enjoy a couple of hours of laughter, pressure-free mingling, and the chance to make genuine and quality connections.
Maybe you'll find love? Or make a friend for life? Whatever you get out of attending a Single & Mingle event, we can be sure you'll have a lovely time meeting new people.
Our mixed-age Connection Café is a calm and relaxed social of coffee, cake board games, and pressure-free connections.
We’ll carefully hand-pick a selection of games that are fun, inclusive, and great for gently sparking conversation. We choose games that are easy to learn, light-hearted, and don’t require you to perform or be loud (unless you want to be!).
Some examples of games we've played in the past include:
- Poetry for Neanderthals
- Herd Mentality
- Secret Identity
- Camel Up
- So Clover
- Phantom Ink
- Geisters blitz (ghost blitz English translation),
- Dobble
- Just One
- Coup
- Code Names
- What Next
- Concept
- Sushi Go
We’ll explain how to play if you'd like help, or you're welcome to just watch until you're ready to join in. There’s no pressure to engage in any specific way - your comfort comes first.
🧠 ND-Friendly Environment
The vibe is low-pressure, sensory-considerate, and welcoming to all neurotypes. There’s no loud music, no icebreakers, and no forced mingling - just a calm, supportive space to be yourself.
🎲 Games in Short Bursts
We’ll play a selection of light, social board and card games in short rounds, with the option to rotate between tables or stay put. There’s no pressure to play every game - take breaks whenever you like, and engage at your own pace.
