Drive With Purpose: Fundraising Event Hosted By The Kiefer Foundation

The Kiefer Foundation will be hosting a Drive With Purpose event on Friday September 19 2025 to honor the life and legacy of Mitchel Kiefer an 18-year-old college student attending Michigan State University who was tragically killed in an automobile crashed caused by a distracted driver. This date marks the ninth anniversary of the tragic crash that claimed Mitchel’s life serving as a powerful reminder of the Foundation’s mission to end distracted driving.

The evening will feature a thoughtfully curated wine tasting experience heavy hors d’oeuvres and remarks from the Kiefer family. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Foundation’s mission reflect on its impact over the past nine years and demo the Just Drive Simulator which provides an immersive hands-on experience that educates drivers of all ages about the dangers of distracted driving in a safe and controlled environment. The highly engaging program simulates different levels of distraction that impact a driver’s awareness and performance behind the wheel.
