Citizen Advocates Respite Group - parent's night out!

The Citizen Advocates Respite Group is designed to provide monthly respite for the families/parents of school age (ages 3-21) children with disabilities so that they may enjoy time for themselves; a dinner out, time for errands, rest, etc. In addition to the adult staff, youth volunteers are matched with the students throughout the event. Being matched allows the students more social interaction at the event and provides an opportunity for the youth to learn from each other and build relationships—and it’s more fun!
