Hi Parents,
Do sounds, smells, lights, or touch ever feel like too much? In today’s noisy and fast-paced world, it can be hard to stay calm and regulated—not only for ourselves, but also for our families.
That’s why this month’s Village in the Valley FREE parent-educator workshop is one you don’t want to miss: A Sense of Self with Occupational Therapist Zielia Crespo.
Together we’ll:
• Explore the sensory systems and what helps us feel calm vs. triggered
• Discover how the vagus nerve helps us move from stress to regulation
• Learn how the nervous system impacts sensory processing and well-being
• Build a personal “calm toolbox” you can use at home every day
📅 Thursday, Sept 4 | ⏰ 6:30–8:30 PM
📍 6013 Wesley Grove Blvd, Wesley Chapel

When we learn to regulate ourselves, we’re better equipped to love, serve, and connect with those around us.
We’d love to see you there!
