🎬 Stop-Motion Animation Workshop – Create Your Own Mini Movie!
Step into the world of movie magic in this hands-on, two-day stop-motion animation workshop! Perfect for creative kids, budding filmmakers, and anyone who loves to bring stories to life, this workshop takes participants from their very first idea all the way to a finished short film.
Across two fun-filled days, students will:
✨ Discover what stop-motion animation is and explore famous examples that use this magical technique.
📝 Create their own story, learning how to shape characters, plots, and ideas.
🎨 Draw a storyboard to plan out scenes like real animators do.
🛠️ Design and build miniature backgrounds and sets, using craft materials and plasticine.
🎥 Film their animation using iPads and a simple, kid-friendly stop-motion app.
💻 Edit their footage, add sound effects, and polish their creation.
🎉 Finish with a film showing, where students premiere their short movies to family and friends!
By the end of the workshop, each participant will walk away with a completed stop-motion film and a huge sense of pride in their creative achievement.
