Remembrance Day 'Spoons Sew-in

Following the success of our 'Spoons takeover in April, we were a bit surprised that the management felt able to repeat the experience by letting us come back...

Once again, we'll be working on hand sewing - slip stitching binding and sewing on labels - the final steps the quilts need to go through, ready to display to donate.

Wetherspoons are going to cordon off some space for us, so we really do need to know in advance who is planning to attend, to make sure we have enough room - please do message the page, or let us know some other way if you would like to come.

This event has been scheduled to coincide with the local Remembrance Day parade - we will be breaking off our session to join that, so do bring your coat (unless you would prefer to stay in the pub and look after our stuff....)
