INTRO TO HERBALISM

Artemisia Botanicals, a leading herb retailer in Salem, MA, will explore the basic fundamentals of herbalism and how to incorporate healing herbs into your daily life. Participants learn how to choose/store medicinal plants and discover the art of creating simple teas, extracts, oils and balms while sampling various herbal products.

Come and learn what the plants can do for you and how fun, easy and economical creating home remedies can be! Participants will take home a handout and an herbal remedy made in class.

This event is free for Hamilton Wenham Garden Club members. It is open to the public for a suggested $10 donation.

*Please note the location change* People can park along Arbor Street on the church side of the road and in the driveway that runs in front of the Church, Nazir's, and Tea House Park, or across the street at the Town Hall. There are handicapped spots in front of the church as well as a ramp along the Arbor Street side of the Church.

CLASS 2: Forced Branch (12” - 30”)

CLASS 3: Flowering Bulb (one stem)

CLASS 4: Houseplant (not to exceed a 10" container)
