Calling all tech enthusiasts, aspiring engineers, and design fans!
Get ready to dive into the captivating world of 3D printing with our beginner-friendly adult classes at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center!
Down in our MakerSpace studio, learn how to design parts, prepare them for printing, and operate the printer itself, led by a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 40 years of manufacturing experience.
From Instructor Mark VanHorne:
"With the knowledge and skills you will obtain in the class, you can print parts to repair everyday items, personalize objects with your name or logo, create customized parts for unique applications, build proof of concept prototypes for your inventions, make personal organizers for your home, and print tools to simplify difficult jobs.
Each class will build on the previous class, so it is essential that each student attend every class. Each student must supply their own laptop computer and setup a Fusion 360 or OnShape account and install PrusaSlicer."
Graduates will be eligible to support Waste Loop's Eastside Rebuild, participating in manufacturing projects at their Wenatchee Repair Café. Learn more about what Eastside Rebuild has to offer here.
