Course objectives:
· Explore conflict dynamics & active listening
· Gain a basic understanding of the interest-based conflict model
· Learn best practices for self-de-escalation & de-escalation of others
· Practice conflict resolution skills for peaceful problem solving

Registration fee includes sales tax, and supports the Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serving Chelan and Douglas counties and dedicated to changing relationships through peaceful conflict resolution.
Jennifer Talbot has been an integral part of the Wenatchee community for over 30 years. With more than 35 years of experience in leadership and collaboration across various organizations and workplaces, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Servant-Leadership from Gonzaga University.
Her extensive studies include active listening, decision-making, communication skills, diversity, conflict resolution, restorative circle keeping, and the art of facilitation. Jennifer leverages her skills in mediation, facilitation, circle keeping, and organizational leadership to foster the growth and development of conflict resolution services both locally and statewide. Since January 2019, she has served as the Executive Director of the Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center (WVDRC), which serves Chelan and Douglas counties.
