✨Celebrate the festive season with a concert of Christmas music by candlelight with Hertford Chamber Choir, accompanied by harp and organ and conducted by Manvinder Rattan ✨
Fresh from a busy year in which we sang Evensong at Westminster Abbey and travelled to Dorset, where we performed at the historic Cathedral of the Vale Church of St Candida & Holy Cross at Whitchurch Canonicorum, we are back in Hertfordshire for an evening of beautiful and glorious Christmas music.
🌟 We begin with a candlelit procession heralding Britten’s beautiful Ceremony of Carols, followed by works by John Rutter, Morten Lauridsen, James MacMillan, Will Todd and more. And, of course, there will be traditional carols for you to sing with us.
🌟We will be joined by harpist Megan Humphries and our own accompanist, Aeron Preston, who will be playing the organ.
