Dickens of a Christmas 2025 @ The Green Free Library

Join us at The Green Free Library to celebrate Dickens of a Christmas! (Chamber of Commerce has the full schedule: https://www.wellsboropa.com/dickens-of-a-christmas-celebration.)

Our Dickens of a Book Sale is Monday, December 1st through Sunday, December 14th (Bag Sale day) in our Main Room! We have books for all ages, GFL tote bags, local photography notecards, DVDs, holiday books, and other “gift worthy” items.

The Book Sale closes one hour before regular library hours, with extended hours of 9:30am-4pm on Saturday, December 6th.

The Friends of the Green Free Library reception is in our Pennsylvania Room with refreshments from 10am-2pm on December 6th. Basket Raffle tickets are on sale until the drawing at 2pm.

Raffle tickets are $2 each (three for $5) and are available from Friends members or at our Circulation Desk. The six baskets are in our display case: https://tinyurl.com/4fztek52 .

You must be over 18 to purchase raffle tickets and over 21 to purchase tickets for the Tequila Mockingbird Basket and Treat Yourself Basket (both contain alcohol). You must pick up your basket at the library if you win; they will not be mailed.
