After a successful event in Auckland, we are bringing this kaupapa down to Pōneke! Come along for an insider's look at Getty Images' comprehensive suite of services designed for directors, producers, art departments, researchers, and creative professionals across the industry. Whether it’s scripted or factual, Getty Images helps find the right content (fast), access archival gems or fresh contemporary visuals, navigate licensing and clearance, negotiating and pricing, and much more.
Our panelists are:
Arran Birchenough For over 25 years, Arran has been working with TV and Film producers in NZ, Australia, and APAC, and has been based in NZ for the last 20 years. Arran is responsible for the teams at Getty Images that support producers in NZ and across APAC with the range of Getty Images services and support, including free access to content to support getting funded, free research including from the TVNZ, BBC, NBC and ITN archives, advice on clearance, copyright, legal and licensing, and developing offerings to meet the needs of scripted and unscripted producers alike.
Sarah Bailey-Harper from Tenzing, The Luminaries and Sparticus joins to bring perspective from the art, set design, costume and textile departments of scripted productions, sharing her experience and knowledge when using creative content in pre-production and production.
Ruth Korver is an experienced producer who has worked across the full spectrum of content. Her production company Useful Media focuses mainly on factual content. Ruth has produced a number of TV series, documentaries and feature films for TV and cinema. Her most recent work includes feature documentary The Stolen Children of Aotearoa for Awa Films and premium factual series Hua Parakore - Fixing our broken food systems for Storybox. Ruth was a senior producer at creative agency Storybox for eight years and in that time worked on a number of commercial campaigns and visitor experiences.
