Sophie Songbird makes her solo debut this spring, stepping into the spotlight with a voice and vision all her own. Known for her work with the beloved band Dr. Reknaw, Sophie now unveils a fresh chapter — touring in celebration of her first solo release and sharing a collection of unreleased, vintage-inspired originals that blend nostalgic charm with a modern twist.

Drawing from the rich traditions of jazz, blues, and country — with a touch of psychedelic flair — Sophie’s songwriting is both timeless and distinctly her own. Her stories are laced with wit, warmth, and a hint of mischief, offering a refreshing take on classic genres.

Her debut single, “Topless Picking Flowers” — set for release on September 19th — is a dreamy fusion of classic country and smooth Hawaiian tones. On stage, Sophie captivates with exceptional rhythm guitar work and a honey-toned voice that soars effortlessly.
