Experience the world through the lens of award-winning photojournalists at The World Press Photo Exhibition at Tākina. This event showcases this year’s best visual journalism, featuring powerful and thought-provoking images from New Zealand and around the world.
Additionally, visitors can view "The 90th Anniversary of Photography by Woolf: The Friends, Influences and Inspirations Exhibition," curated by Simon Woolf.
Photos on display will feature images by Ronald Woolf and Spencer Digby (Te Papa Tongarewa Collection), alongside works by Wellington’s own Simon Woolf, internationally renowned photographer Brian Brake, and legendary sports photographer Peter Bush. The exhibition will also display images by Barry Durrant, former chief photographer of The Dominion, as well as photographs by acclaimed recent talents, including Pulitzer Prize winner Melanie Burford, celebrated international photojournalist Simon Townsley, and esteemed photo historian Graham Stewart.
