Starting Sourdough Class

During the class you will learn all about sourdough. You’ll make/ feed your own starter and learn how to care for it and maintain it! The starter will be created essentially from my already established starter, not from scratch but you’ll leave with an active ready to bake with starter!

You’ll also make dough, learn to shape dough and learn to bake a loaf! It’s cooking show style so I’ll have dough prepared for you in different phases! We go through my recipe and you get to see and all steps!

You go home with your new starter, dough that you shaped and put into a banneton basket that you get to keep. This dough can be baked the day after class! You also get to take home a fresh baked loaf of bread!

You learn everything start to finish! We also have a small tea party with sourdough bread and treats while we wait for bread to bake!
