Small Wheels Pride

Come and join Ngā Wīra Iti Collective: the vibrant, diverse, and lively small wheels communities of Te Whanganui a Tara, as we create joyful resistance, and take part in some small wheels activities in conjunction with, and alongside, Out in the City. We'll be holding a Roller Pride Parade, skate sessions, a mini Roller Disco, demonstrations, and more!

Seaside Skates and Richter City Roller Derby will both have stalls, and there'll be an opportunity to give skating a go and get some pointers. Who knows? You could end up signing up for Quad Goals an introduction to Roller Derby, find yourself at the Skatefit lessons at Kilbirnie Recreation Centre, or hanging out with the many other amazing small wheels communities around the region.
