Shan Solo

The Undercurrent presents... Shan Solo!

Shan started out playing the piano at 7 and then writing songs at 12. She studied music in her later years was a part of various bands and other music acts. A recent highlight was playing Gardens Magic at the Botanical Gardens two nights in a row at the beginning of this year and releasing EP’s and albums under SHAN, Kingston High All Stars and The Julie Lamb Outfit.

Shan's songs and vocals have been noted for their power and strength and likened to SIA, Bic Runga and Kate Bush.

She is currently working on a new batch of original songs and in between playing live music for various bars around Wellington.

SHAN will be supported by Hannah Simpson and Helena & Philip.
