Ready to Ride: Bike Basics Maintenance Workshop

Learn the basics of bike maintenance at Te Aro Zero Waste!

Want to feel more confident looking after your bike? This hands-on workshop facilitated by EkeRua ReBicycle is the perfect place to start. Whether you’re a daily commuter, weekend rider, or just pulling an old bike out of the shed, EkeRua ReBicycle will walk you through the essentials to keep your wheels spinning smoothly.

This workshop will cover how to:
- Maintain and clean your chain
- Deal with a puncture and change a tyre
- Check your bike is safe and road-ready

You’re encouraged to bring your own bike so you can learn by doing, but it’s totally fine if you don’t - there will be demonstrations and plenty of chances to get involved.

Spaces are limited so book your space below to come along and get your hands a little dirty, and leave with the practical skills to keep your bike in great shape. No prior experience needed - just a willingness to learn!
