Book Notes: NZSO x UNITY

Please join us for our monthly Book Notes, where Unity Books & the NZSO team up to bring you 45 minutes of classical delights.

This month Kirstin Eade (flute) and Beth Chan (keyboard) will be performing Sonata for Flute and Piano – Mélanie BONIS (1858-1937)

"This lyrical, post-Romantic work has an impressionistic atmosphere. French composer Bonis was a contemporary of Debussy’s who studied with César Franck. Her works are experiencing a resurgence as musicians and audiences rediscover her significant talent."
