This is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Western Cape found on the outskirts of Wellington. The scenic drive is just over an hour from Cape Town and features incredible views on the BainsKloof pass.

We’ll follow an adventurous route along the Witte River and up one of the ravines. There are multiple rock pools along the way featuring spectacular waterfalls inviting you for a swim.

Hiking Duration: 3,5 - 4 hrs complete
Distance: 2km
Location : Wellington
Difficulty level: Short entry level distance but requires some flexibility to move across and over rocks. Also involves walking through water knee deep – crossing a river. You’ll need to hike out of the valley so expect a short steep incline.
