Our Wellingborough-based Young Carers Music Club will be starting up again in September.... and is open to any young person who is a carer between the ages of 7 and 16.
The group meets every Monday during term-time from 4:30pm to 5:30pm... and is accepted new members from the week commencing 8th September
The club is a creative musical nurture group specifically for young carers that aims to improve: emotional resilience, confidence, musical and social skills, agency, independent learning, and help participants develop a sense of community.
The group will provide access to keyboards, ukuleles and guitars, music technology, singing... and include a range of creative activities including songwriting and composition.
Membership of the group is FREE (although places are limited).
