This immersive and activating training is designed for Reiki practitioners who are ready to go beyond the hand positions and into the heart of intuitive healing work. Led by Misty Verlinden — Usui and Holy Fire® III Reiki Master Teacher and founder of Lighthouse Reiki Intuitive Healing — this course offers a profound blend of traditional Reiki foundations with advanced energetic sensitivity, intuitive awareness, and sacred connection.
You will explore how to become a clear, grounded, and ethical channel — not only for Reiki, but for intuitive messages, Spirit Guides, and the wisdom that flows through energy itself.
This training includes both instruction and hands-on practicum and is open to Reiki Level II practitioners or higher.
What You’ll Learn:
-Intuitive Development & The Clairs
Discover the sacred language of your intuition and how it naturally integrates with Reiki. We will explore the six core “clairs” — clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, clairalience, and clairgustance — and how each practitioner uniquely receives intuitive guidance. You’ll learn how to identify and strengthen your intuitive gifts and experience an attunement specifically designed to awaken and deepen your intuitive connection as a Reiki practitioner.
-Chakra Foundations & Energy Reading
Go beyond the basics of the chakras to learn how they function as a diagnostic system for intuitive healing. You’ll be taught how to scan the body with Reiki and intuition, recognize overactive and underactive chakras, sense blockages stored in the energy body, and interpret the messages each chakra may hold. You’ll also receive chakra visuals and reflection tools to support your client sessions.
-Ethics & Boundaries in Intuitive Work
Learn how to stay grounded, protected, and clear in your role as a healing practitioner. This section will address ethical communication, maintaining energetic sovereignty, beginning trauma-informed care, and how to avoid merging with or absorbing your client’s energy. You’ll explore how to recognize your own ego or shadow in a session, and how to know when not to read or share.
-Working With Spirit Guides & Reiki Helpers
Explore how to call in, recognize, and build trust with your Reiki Spirit Guides and intuitive allies. You’ll be guided through meditations and reflections to connect with your personal healing team, understand the difference between guides and ego, and invite divine assistance into your sessions. You’ll also learn rituals to protect your energy and clear your space.
-Opening the Intuitive Reiki Session
Step into sacred flow with a full breakdown of how to begin and guide an intuitive Reiki session. You’ll be taught how to prepare your space, cleanse energy, call in Spirit, ground yourself, and attune to your client’s needs using Reiki and your intuitive senses. This section includes guidance on interpreting intuitive impressions during sessions with discernment, humility, and confidence.
-Practical Practicum & Peer Practice
This is where it all comes together. You’ll participate in hands-on practice with your fellow students to scan each other’s energy fields, interpret intuitive impressions, and offer real-time Reiki and feedback. Through gentle coaching and group reflection, you’ll grow in clarity, trust your inner guidance, and experience the gift of intuitive energy work in action.
