Family Service Center is committed to providing free or affordable mental health services to all residents of Southeast Texas. Since our establishment 111 years ago, our organization has consistently focused on strengthening families. Family Service Center’s legacy of strength, hope, and community connections will be celebrated at our annual gala. The A Night At The Balinese-themed event will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Great Wolf Lodge.
This year, we are proud to honor individuals who are breaking barriers and inspiring generations. We will be recognizing Galveston Island native Mike Evans and The Mike Evans Foundation, Galveston County natives Ben Cavil and Reggie Rusk of The National Football Players Association-Houston Chapter, and Olympic Silver Medalist Maritza McClendon. These honorees have made a profound and lasting impact on our community through their achievements in sports and leadership, as well as their dedication to uplifting and supporting those around them.
We invite you to become part of our story by sponsoring Family Service Center’s Annual Gala, A Night At The Balinese. Enclosed, you will find information on sponsorship opportunities. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Dr. Jared M. Williams, DBA, by email at
