WNC Pagan Choir: Fall Season

In this season of WNC Pagan Choir, we'll feel into harvest time and the descent into winter with songs that explore the wise plants and deities who feed us, songs of death and sacrifice, and songs that embrace the mystery. We'll finish with a public finale and a private Samhain ("Summer's End") ceremony.

The WNC Pagan Choir is a community choir open to all voices in which we sing together to celebrate the magic of the natural world, inspired by folk & pagan traditions of Northwestern Europe. We meet for 9-week seasons, learning folklore & songs themed around earth-based spirituality and pagan holidays such as Samhain, Yule and Imbolc. This is a directed space where we learn together by ear, singing rounds, chants, folk songs and layered songs with three and four-part harmonies. We always end our seasons with a public performance and communal sing, followed by a private ritual for the season. We meet in person (sorry, no virtual option for this experience), near Asheville, NC.
