Five-week writing workshop
Mondays, September 22 - October 20
6:30-8:00 pm
Instructor: Bonner Odell
This five-week study group and writing lab isn’t an instructed class—it’s a deep dive into "The 3 A.M. Epiphany: Uncommon Writing Exercises that Transform Your Fiction" by Brian Kitely. Developed over fifteen years directing the University of Denver’s creative writing program, Kitely’s exercises are designed to shake up your habits and challenge your assumptions about storytelling. Together, we’ll explore unorthodox prompts on point of view, character creation, imagery, revision, and more. You’ll leave with fresh inspiration, unexpected discoveries, and an expanded sense of what fiction can be.
The class will take place at Stone Soup Books in Waynesboro (402 W Main Street). Workshop fee is $135.
