The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro’s Destination ARTS! presents JAMMIN’ in the Park, its annual Music and Arts Festival, on Sunday, August 31 from 3 to 8 pm at Main Street Park in downtown Waynesboro.
The full day of entertainment and art features seven area bands playing throughout the day on two stages, including: Clay Band, BBD Trio, Samz@7, Jason Kauffman, FATSO, Shale Pile and Kin Selection.
The groups cover a wide variety of musical styles, including classic and indie rock, Americana, folk, jazz, blues, and many unique blends.
The festival is family-friendly with lots of kids activities. Several arts vendors will have one-of-a-kind artwork and handcrafted items available for purchase. In addition, there will be food trucks including: C&G Jerk Chicken, Gerber Burger and Antietam Dairy. Those over 21 may purchase craft beer from Waynesboro’s Rough Edges Brewing.
Sponsored by Waynesboro Construction and F&M Trust, the event is a fundraiser and all proceeds from admissions benefit the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Admission is only $15. Children age 12 and under are FREE.
