Main Point Books welcomes poets V.A. Smith and Hayden Saunier in celebration of their new books!

V.A. Smith / Adaptations

A frequent Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee, VA Smith has published work in several
anthologies and in dozens of literary journals, among them: Southern Review, Calyx, Crab Creek Review, West Trade Review, Third Wednesday, After Happy Hour Review and SWIMM. Her first two books, Biking Through the Stone Age and American Daughters, were published by Kelsay Books in 2022 and 2023.Her third collection, Adaptations, has been published by Green Writers Press in Fall 2025. In addition to serving as River Heron Review’s Poetry Editor, VA’s bliss is traveling, cooking, hiking and loving on friends and family. Hayden Saunier / Wheel

Hayden Saunier is a poet, actor, and teaching artist living in the Philadelphia area. She
has published six collections of poetry and her work has been awarded numerous prizes including a Pushcart Prize and twelve nominations; the Rattle Poetry Prize; Nimrod International's Pablo Neruda Prize, among others. She is the founder and director of No River Twice, a group of poets who offer interactive poetry readings that are never the same twice.

Hayden is a Poet Laureate Emerita of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
