This is one tough job market and we need ways to be visible to recruiters and hiring organizations to land our next role. This interactive session will include steps you can immediately take to move your job search forward.

Cracking the Hidden Job Market – Ed Samuel will help you uncover what the hidden job market is and how you land more interviews and a job when using it. You will discover why the hidden job market is often overlooked and the dos and don'ts when engaging in it. Tackling the hidden job market can be fruitful in landing your next job.

Nail Your Next Interview – Ken Sher will help you to prepare for your next interview. You’ll learn: effective ways to handle phone interviews; tips for virtual interviews; how to handle the most difficult interview questions or challenges; and what not to say in an interview. To be successful with your interviews, you need to prepare, practice, and have a process to answer questions. This talk will help you with all aspects of the interview process.

Knock Out Network – Michael Goldberg - Job search is a fight. No doubt about it. You’ll want to lace up your gloves and come out swinging. Boxing, like networking, is about the connection. More and better connections (in or out of the ring!) means greater success. In this “main event” you will learn how to: confidently meet and greet new people in professional settings; further define a Target Market to establish more and better connections; deliver a “knock-out” elevator speech (not a script!); generate more prospects and referrals from current network; and establish important relationships generating more career opportunities.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop begins at 9 a.m. The formal part of the workshop will end at 4:00 p.m. Snacks and sandwiches will be provided; if you have special food needs, please bring your lunch.
