Beginning Bodhrán Class
Ian Gould will get students new to the bodhrán - the Irish frame drum - going with proper techniques to accompany Irish music.
Dates: Mondays, February 2, 9, 16, 23; March 2, 2026 (five classes).

Learn the fundamentals of playing bodhrán with Ian Gould! Ian will guide new students on their journey of learning the Irish frame drum, including:
Holding the drum
Holding and using the tipper
Basic tune type rhythms including jigs and reels

Interactive lessons: Bring your instrument and join in! The Irish Fest School of Music also has bodhrán's to borrow during the class or rent to take home.
