An Evening with Author Lauren Myracle

The Wauwatosa Public Library and Boswell Book Company welcome author Lauren Myracle for an evening chat and book signing celebrating her newest novel, Incredibly Penelope.

In this fresh spin on the classic rags-to-riches story A Little Princess, Myracle's clever character Penelope has been all over the globe traveling alongside her mother and celebrity godmother. When they both go missing while Penelope is at boarding school, her wealth goes along with them, and people start treating her differently. Penelope's heartfelt journey of self-discovery leads not only to her finding herself, but to friends and family uncovered in surprising places. Join Myracle in our Civic Center as she shares how she created this poignant coming-of-age novel. Refreshments will be provided, and an author meet-and-greet and book signing will follow her talk. Books will be made available for purchase on-site by our partner, Boswell Book Company. No purchase necessary to attend. Please register in advance for this free, special event. Registration begins September 1.
