It is time to do our 8 week series of classes delving into the different Chakras and all the benefits that come along with doing so! Come in to class and receive the gifts of a regular Yoga practice!
This first week, we start at the base.
Let's get back to the beginning.
If we think of Chakras as subtle energy centers running from the base of our spine all the way up to the crown of the head, we will associate different asanas (poses), along with some other modalities to help enhance and heal ourselves.
Focusing this week on alleviating any physical weaknesses and enhancing stability.
Overcoming our fears and getting out of survival mode and more into healthy thriving mode.
Root Chakra: In Sanskrit, Muladhara
Color: Red
Mudra: Prithvi Mudra, Prana Mudra & Gyan Mudra
Stones: Ruby, garnet, black onyx, hematite, black tourmaline, smokey quartz, black obsidian
Essential oils: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Myrrh, Frankincense,
Atlas Cedarwood.
Body parts receiving: Kidneys, bladder, adrenal glands, low back, bones, muscles, blood
Physiologically: Confidence, sense of belonging, safety, security
Affirmations: "I am safe" "I am grounded" " I am centered" " I am supported" "I am whole"
"I have deep and healthy relationships that thrive".
See you at Dreams Life and Wellness Center in downtown Waukesha on Monday night at 7pm for Gentle Candlelight Yoga, or Wednesday afternoon at 4pm for Vinyasa Yoga, or Friday morn at 10am for Gentle Yoga.
