The Final Salute Unclaimed Veterans Des Moines, Iowa October 4, 2025, Saturday

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand for 13 unclaimed veterans and 1 spouse. While these veterans may not have had family to claim them, that is no longer true. We will join hundreds of other Iowans in standing for our Nation's heroes.

We will stand a flag line before the service. Once we wrap up the flags we will proceed in and attend the service. Once the service is complete we will render honors and then escort the veterans to the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. This will be a very large service so be prepared.

If you are a ride captain in attendance please meet with John prior to the service and wear your maroon cap to assist.
