While the water level is manageable and before the Earth heats up too much let’s paddle, dig, and sift for evidence of prehistoric life here in Florida. The Peace River is a well known Mecca for fossils so, even if you only find sharks teeth, it’s still pretty amazing considering you found them in a freshwater river in the middle of our state, don’t you think?
The guided trip will launch from Crews Park at 8 am and will return at 12pm .The cost is $150 per person and includes all kayak and fossil hunting gear. If you have your own paddle-craft, safety and fossil hunting gear and would like to join the guided event, the cost $75 per person. Children <12 are a flat rate of $70 each.
I’m also offering one seat to “Ride with a Guide” (that’s me) for $100 but once someone grabs it, it’s gone.
Please note, if you plan to collect shark’s teeth, invertebrates or plant fossils no fossil hunting permit is required. However, in order to collect anything else you must obtain a permit. To apply, please visit our website, locate it under the fossil hunting tab, print and complete it then mail it with $5 for the annual fee.
There are a limited number of seats for this event. We operate on a first come first serve basis and require a waiver, pre-ride checklist (checklist not required if utilizing your kayak(s)) and payment to be completed to secure your spot. All are accessible via our website at

If you have any questions or would like to reserve your spot please call/text me (813) 784-3396.
Thanks!
