Have a go at puppeteering - volunteer open day at RSPB Old Moor

We're looking for more puppeteers to handle our giant illuminated wildlife - come and have a go at our drop in event at Old Moor Nature Reserve Sunday 31st August, 1-4pm.

- No need to book

- Join for some/ all the afternoon 1-4pm

- Free

- Ask in the Welcome Hub about puppeteering and they will direct you to the right place

The puppets vary from 1-4 metres long, they are made of willow, bamboo and tissue so are not super heavy but they are large, being steady on your feet and having no problems with lifting/ twisting is important.

The puppets feature in our WildLights Lantern Trail events and community events, saying hello and interacting with people of all ages. It's a lot of fun!
