RefillAbell Workshops: Indoor Foraging Masterclass with Peter

Join us for an Indoor Foraging Masterclass with Peter!
Learn how to forage safely in a variety of environments — all from the comfort of being indoors. This fun and informative session includes delicious samples and recipes to try!

We’ll be tasting freshly foraged and prepared foods such as pine needle fizz and chickweed pakoras, while learning how to create our own dishes using easy-to-find foraged ingredients (yes, “foragable” is a word!).

Peter has been passionate about foraging for over 30 years and has spent more than 15 years as the Cookery Leader at FoodCycle, an organisation that tackles food poverty, safety, and loneliness all at once. (They do fantastic work — check them out at foodcycle.org.uk/who-we-are).
From the moment we met Peter, we knew he’d be the perfect person to lead our very first Foraging Masterclass at RefillAbell!

He brings a wealth of knowledge and is currently studying Herbal Medicine.
Recently, however, the FoodCycle kitchen suffered a theft — their ThermoMix was stolen. To help replace it, a portion of each ticket sale will go towards purchasing a new one.

We’ll also be holding a raffle to raise additional funds, with some exciting prizes up for grabs — including (we’ve heard a rumour!) possibly a rice cooker!

So come and join us for a cosy Sunday afternoon with like-minded food lovers. Expect insightful discussions, tasty treats, and a bit of fizz!
