Wheel 1 + Hand-building 1

Join Farmington-based ceramic artist, Cherie Giampietro, for a six-week beginner class designed to teach and enhance fundamental wheel-thrown and hand-building techniques. Discover how these methods can be used both individually and in combination to create distinct and unique pieces. Throughout the course, you will work on projects such as an altered mug, a connected vase, a plate, and an altered bowl.

The class registration fee includes all necessary tools, materials, 25 pounds of clay, glazes, and firings. Students can access the studio outside of class during open studio hours.

Age: Adults and Teens 16+
Cost: $181
This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
