Story Hour Friday

Join us each Friday morning at 11 am for Story Hour!

Each Story Hour takes place in the Children's Room with stories and short songs, as well as a themed invitation to play geared towards young children. Children are welcome to explore and adapt this invitation to best fit them. Or, to simply enjoy their own play in the Children's Room simultaneously. Just being in the room is a beneficial way to add literacy, music, rhythm, socializaiton, and more- and all you have to do is show up (easier said than done some mornings, we know).

January 2nd: Get cozy and explore the idea of hibernation with a blanket fort
January 9th: What do animals do in winter? What animals or tracks do you see? Who do you hear? Who is asleep?
January 16th: After some play and stories, join us outdoors to paint the snow! Winter gear recommended (and available in the gear exchange)
January 23rd: Winter, winter, everywhere- and so much to play with!
January 30th: Penguins on the loose! Help search the library!
