One Battle After Another

Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a former member of the revolutionary group French 75, lives a somewhat peaceful life for an ex-radical: existing off-grid in a constant state of stoned paranoia. His only solace is found in Willa (Chase Infiniti), his spirited and self-reliant daughter. When his old enemy Colonel Lockjaw (Sean Penn) resurfaces after sixteen years and targets Willa, Bob seeks the help of Sensei Sergio (Benicio del Toro) and other members of French 75 to help him get his daughter back as he battles the consequences of his past.

From the director of Boogie Nights, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood, and Licorice Pizza (to list a few of his many greats), One Battle After Another is perhaps Paul Thomas Anderson's most daring film yet.
