We are excited to host not one, but two outstanding Maine writers!
Meghan Sterling, poet and editor from Gardiner, and Sidney wild child, now long-time Wyoming resident sid sibo invite visitors into conversation about writing our way forward in the face of collapsing ecosystems and more.
Meghan Sterling's latest collection of poetry is called You Are Here To Break Apart; downtown Waterville's Oliver & Friends Bookstore will have both sibo's debut novel, The Scent of Distant Family, and Sterling's book signed and available for purchase at the store.
About the Authors-
sid sibo: Growing up along the Kennebec in Sidney and graduating from Messalonskee High, sid sibo returns to her roots here. The dogs and horses she grew up around have remained influential all her life, and their influence in her debut novel (The Scent of Distant Family) is also indisputable, as the human characters wrestle with old secrets and new changes in their families and their Wyoming communities.
