The Northern Nest: A Holistic Pregnancy Event

We Welcome Chelsey of The Northern Nest, LLC. A Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant specializing in fertility and pregnancy, a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher, and a DONA Trained Birth Doula. Her work combines all of these areas of expertise to support women and families from preconception, through pregnancy, labor, and birth, and into the early postpartum time. Her belief is that nutrition support, movement support, and compassionate hands-on support work together toward positive birth outcomes and health outcomes for the birthing woman.



This event will include a pregnancy safe yoga flow with an emphasis on prenatal modifications that can be used in most yoga classes and movements/positions that aid in laboring and pushing during birth. She will also touch on pregnancy nutrition and what I do as a nutrition coach as well as what a doula does (and does not do) and the evidence-based positive outcomes from having a doula on your care team.
