Charles Dickens wasn’t the only one who knew ghosts love Christmas. Join GRIP Paranormal on
19 December 2025 for a special holiday paranormal investigation of the historic Bellefontaine House in
Waterloo, IL.
The Bellefontaine House is said to be Waterloo’s oldest structure dating back to the late 1700s when its
first section was built by Captain James Moore. Five generations of Moore's called the homestead their
home. Many are buried in Moore's Cemetery, less than a quarter of a mile just south of the Bellefontaine
House. Who will be coming home for Christmas?
During this event, you will get to investigate the main two floors of the house with members of the GRIP
team, or you can investigate on your own. GRIP will offer guests the use of paranormal investigation
equipment that will include infrared cameras, K2 meters, dowsing rods and temperature monitors to help
you document your experiences. You can also use your own equipment!
Tickets can be purchased online at the link provided.
