Glow Paddle at Waterford Ponds!🌊✨
Hey there, friends! Join us Saturday, September 7th, for a sunset Glow Paddle!
Here’s the lowdown:
-BYOB (Bring Your Own Board) for just $25
-Rent a Board for $45 (don’t worry, I’ve got all the glowing gear covered!)
I’ll supply all the glow-in-the-dark fun you could ask for! If you decide to rent a board, I’ll also hook you up with a safety kit and life jacket. But hey, if you have a favorite life jacket, feel free to bring that, too!
Meeting Spot - Let’s gather in the municipal parking lot on Alice Street in Waterford (just across from Wishbone).
Time to Shine: Arrive early to get your boards inflated and glowing—we’ll hit the water at **7 PM**!
Board renters MUST pre register!!!
Event schedule:
- Arrive anytime before 7pm to pump up boards, meet & greet with fellow paddlers
- Paddle through sunset and be back to shore by 9:00pm to pack-up.
- Kayaks and canoes also welcome
Event fee includes:
- Glow lights for the boards and personal glow stick necklaces to light up the water in style
- Digital photo album
- guide on-site to help out newbies with pumping up boards and answering questions!
- Proceeds will help us to continue hosting social events, charity events plus invest in safety gear that we loan out for no charge including PDF's, leashes, extra paddles and more. Thank you for supporting the community!
- SUP rentals available, limited quantity!
Safety stuff:
REQUIRED: PFD, leash, whistle, a headlamp or lantern if you have one.
REMEMBER: there are no lifeguards on duty during these events. You are responsible for your own safety while on the lake. Please dress appropriately, and know your skill level.
Weather policy:
We will let participants know if we need to cancel or delay an event within an hour of the planned meetup start time via email and on the Facebook event page.
